Financial Summary

Financial contributions help us get food to hungry people. United Food Bank has several financial giving options for both individuals and businesses: assist with an unrestricted financial donation, support the Food Bank through grants or designate funds to any of our programs or our Endowment fund.

Where does the donated money go? Donating helps purchase food, keep equipment updated, operate a fleet of trucks, maintaining coolers, freezers and warehouse equipment. Donations make it possible for the Food Bank to protect the integrity of donated food and to keep general operations running efficiently. During the last fiscal year over ninety-eight cents of every expense dollar was used in Program Services. Every dollar spent accounted for more than $10.00 worth of food distributed. By using donations efficiently and effectively, the food bank can provide a meal for just $0.19.
